T6 Aircraft quality solid aluminum plate ¼ inch thick to ensure a flat surface ideal for textile screen-printing. Easy cleaning aluminum pallets or platens don't wrap and hold up to heat well. Used for manual t-shirt printing presses and automated textile printing presses.

Vacuum platens are commonly used to screen print graphics on paper, decal and sticker material that may be too light or too stubborn to keep in place. The unit comes with a foot pedal switch to activate the vacuum motor, which draws air down through the platen's perforated 18"x 24" surface to generate the suction necessary to keep the items in place.

An important tool to properly cure plastisol on t-shirts is the non contact thermometer. This temperature gun allows you to set the adequate heat range and times for your flash dryer; spot cure or conveyor belt oven by giving you an accurate reading of the garment's ink temperature. There are many methods to checking to see if your textile printing ink is cured or dried. (1) Non contact temperature thermometer, (2) Paper temperature strips (3) crack stretch & scratch, and wash test.
